The Officials reserve the right to refuse any entry without stating a reason.
Draws
The draws will take place at BTC Office on Saturday 21st February
2026 at 19.00. Seedings will be based on the latest MTPF rankings.
Schedule of Play
Schedule of play of first round will be drawn up at the start of the tournament. Players must make themselves for play at any time and on any day up to the last tournament day and must also be available to play 2 matches on any one day. Players must also be prepared to play or continue unfinished matches under floodlights and if necessary on different court.
Fixtures
This is a knockout tournament. Fixtures of the following day’s play will be posted on the Birkirkara Tennis Club notice board. Players may also phone the club to check the day and time of play. Notwithstanding this, it is the responsibility of each player to find out when they are scheduled to play each day. Players arriving more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled match time may be scratched at the discretion of the Referee or Organizers. Entry fees will not be refunded.
Rules
This Open Tournament is organised by Birkirkara Tennis Club and is sanctioned by MTPF. It will be conducted under its Rules and Regulations, currently International Tennis Federation (ITF) rules and copy of which is available at Birkirkara Tennis Club. Players guilty of bad behaviour or any unsportsmanlike action may be penalized, suspended or disqualified by the Referee and his decision will be final.

Alterations
The Referee and Organizers reserve the right to alter or modify the program and conditions in any way they deem fit.
Attire
Proper tennis attire must be worn during play.

By signing this application form, permission is granted to the organizers to use photos for promotional purposes.

PRIZES AND PRESENTATION:
Prize money will be distributed as follows:
• GENTLEMEN’S: €100 Winners each; €75 Runners up each;
• LADIES’: €100 Winners each; €75 Runners up each
• MIXED: €100 Winners each; €75 Runners up each
Prizes/Trophies and cheques of the various events will be given on court,
immediately following the finals. (If event is not a Knock Out and a decision to
hold a round robin is decided only winners will be awarded)
